This winter has been sunny, cold and clear–beautiful weather, although some rain is needed soon. Here is this morning’s view.
Here is some pics of the work going on around the house–Lesley’s boulder gardens–the paths to the south and west, now moving in the north and east–and steps coming up from the gate. These steps are made of limestone blocks which weigh a ton!–well, around 50 kilos now that they are full of water. But we’re getting there! Also lots of planting, from the local nursery run by David Buckingham, our friend, and also from the district nursery at Reedy Creek, south of Kingston.
